White pearls riveted into hammered cups of sterling silver and suspended from contemporary wirework designs in more sterling silver. --SOLD-- I don’t take many ventures down the
Polymer Clay Highway, but I had fun with
this set, combining the visual movement
of clay with polished chips of black jade,
white jasper beads and surgical steel. --SOLD--
I like to call this set of turquoise nuggets and sterling silver wire "Identity Crisis" because the woman who bought this brought it back to me a few years later and asked me to restyle it. I did. We were both very pleased...too bad I didn't think to take a photo! Basically, I made the pendant into a separate piece on a simple chain, turning all the curliques down, shortening them, and nesting them to one side until it resembled a prayerful Indian maiden. Jewelry--so many faces, so little time! --SOLD-- Laurel Leaves and Holly Berries. A choker of painstakingly intertwined 14k GF leaves, each holding a tiny cluster of sterling silver berries. --SOLD-- Pottery shard suspended from my own "M" bail on a hammered rocker, then 22" of handcrafted sterling silver chain, green aventurine cubes and amber pebbles, finished with a hammered left-right "S" clasp. $110 Double your pleasure in this convertible 18" necklace of ocean jasper, amazonite, yellow aragonite and sterling silver. The jasper and sterling silver centerpiece snaps on/snaps off for two different looks. $95 Chunky Monkeys! From top to bottom: Black tourmaline & gold petal pearls; Azurite-malachite & golden beads; Hemimorphyte, vintage rhinestone spacers and gold-painted wooden beads - all with handmade clasps in contemporary designs. $115/$115/SOLD A lovely, faceted chunk of Brazilian Agate dangles from a strand of vintage bone beads in sky blue (they were part of a long strand of my mom's from the 1940's), cubes of botswana agate and sterling silver make a bold statement. --$72-- More treasures from the beaches at Acumel, Mexico. Ocean-tumbled sea glass in pale, pale aquas and greens as well as frothy white--much like the waters they came from, all held lightly with sterling silver wire on an 18" chain of the same precious metal. --$88-- Fireworks! If you find just the right hill in Baltimore, you can see at least three, spectacular fireworks shows on any given 4th of July. That sent me home to coil square sterling silver wire with its horizon of shooting howlite stars. Ring & bar clasp with a "lone star" dangle...for all you Texans out there. (18.75" long) $105 (matching earrings available) |
